2. About Mission Carbon

Mission Carbon is an AI-powered sustainability learning platform. It helps users learn about environmental topics and conscious living through:

• Onboarding questions
• Recommended lessons
• A Learn path
• Sustainability lessons
• Quizzes
• An AI Sustainability Assistant
• Leaves rewards
• Streaks
• Badges
• Progress tracking
• Future image-recognition features

Mission Carbon is designed for educational and informational purposes only.

3. Eligibility

Users must be at least 13 years old to use Mission Carbon.

If a user is under the age of majority in their location, they may only use Mission Carbon with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts

Some features may require an account. Users agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep login credentials secure
• Not share accounts with others
• Notify Mission Carbon if unauthorised access is suspected
• Accept responsibility for activity under their account

Mission Carbon may allow users to continue without an account, but progress, streaks, Leaves, badges, quiz results, and AI chat history may not be saved unless an account is created.

Mission Carbon provides educational sustainability content. The platform may help users understand topics such as recycling, water, transportation, energy, product choices, and environmental habits.

6. AI Assistant Disclaimer

The AI Sustainability Assistant may generate responses using artificial intelligence. These responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a user's specific situation.

Users agree that:

• AI responses are for general educational purposes only.
• Important information should be verified independently.
• Mission Carbon does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.
• The AI Assistant should not be used for emergency, legal, regulatory, medical, or professional advice.
• Mission Carbon may process AI interactions to improve safety, quality, and functionality.

7. User Content

Users may provide content to Mission Carbon, including quiz answers, onboarding responses, AI Assistant questions, feedback, and future image uploads. Users remain responsible for the content they submit.

Users agree not to submit content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory
• Violates another person's rights
• Contains sensitive personal information unless necessary
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Attempts to manipulate, abuse, or disrupt the service
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights

By submitting content, users grant Mission Carbon a limited right to use, process, store, and display that content as needed to provide and improve the service.

8. Rewards, Leaves, Streaks, and Badges

Mission Carbon may include gamification features such as Leaves, streaks, badges, progress tracking, and future leaderboards.

Mission Carbon may adjust, reset, remove, or modify rewards, streaks, badges, or leaderboard rules at any time to improve the platform, fix bugs, prevent abuse, or update product design.

Users agree not to:

• Use Mission Carbon for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, overload, or disrupt the platform
• Reverse engineer or copy the service
• Scrape or harvest data without permission
• Misuse the AI Assistant
• Upload harmful or infringing content
• Impersonate another person
• Attempt to bypass security or access controls
• Use Mission Carbon to generate deceptive, harmful, or misleading content

10. Intellectual Property

Mission Carbon, including its name, branding, design, interface, lessons, quizzes, icons, visual assets, text, AI-generated materials, reward concepts, and platform structure, is owned by Mission Carbon or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from Mission Carbon content without written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

Mission Carbon may integrate with third-party tools or services, including hosting, analytics, authentication, email, AI, and future image-recognition providers.

Mission Carbon is not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content. Use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Mission Carbon may release experimental, beta, or future features, including image recognition, leaderboards, advanced personalisation, and expanded learning categories.
